Geometry AI is a geometry and mathematics learning and tutoring application. We designed the app to minimize the personal data required to use the service.

Data We Process
Depending on how you use Geometry AI, we may process:
- photos of geometry or math problems, diagrams, sketches or worksheets that you select or capture
- text you enter, including math questions and follow-up questions
- voice input if you use a voice feature
- an anonymous or pseudonymous Firebase user/device identifier
- usage counters used to enforce limits and prevent abuse
- purchase and entitlement information provided through RevenueCat
- your email address and message if you contact support
Your history and favorites are stored locally on your device.
Geometry AI does not require a real-name account or an email account to use the core app and does not create public user profiles.
Please avoid submitting unnecessary personal, sensitive or confidential information in photos, text or voice input.
How We Use Data
We process data to:
- analyze geometry and math questions
- generate AI-powered answers and step-by-step explanations
- display locally stored history and favorites
- enforce usage limits
- prevent fraud, abuse and misuse
- manage subscriptions and purchases
- respond to support requests
Legal Bases
Where the GDPR applies, processing may be based on:
- Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is necessary to provide a feature or service you request
- Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for legitimate interests such as security, abuse prevention and reliable operation of the service
- Article 6(1)(c) GDPR where processing is required by law
- Article 6(1)(a) GDPR where we specifically ask for consent
Service Providers and Data Sharing
Geometry AI uses third-party providers where necessary to operate the service:
- Google Firebase – anonymous authentication, usage counters and Cloud Functions
- OpenAI – AI processing of inputs required to generate your answer
- RevenueCat – subscription and purchase entitlement management
- Apple / App Store – processing of App Store purchases
We do not sell personal data.
We do not receive your full payment-card details from App Store purchases.
OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default unless the API organization opts in. Depending on the API endpoint and configuration, API data may be retained temporarily for security and abuse monitoring.
Advertising, Analytics and Tracking
Geometry AI:
- does not display third-party advertising
- does not use advertising or marketing analytics SDKs
- does not track you across other companies‘ apps or websites
- does not use your data for targeted advertising
Technical usage counters are used only to operate the service, enforce limits and prevent abuse.
Retention and Deletion
History and favorites stored locally remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app.
Deleting the app removes locally stored Geometry AI data from the device.
Server-side usage records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for usage limits, security and abuse prevention.
AI service providers may temporarily retain submitted content according to their applicable service settings and policies.
Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain appropriate records or comply with legal obligations.
You may contact us to request deletion of server-side data associated with you where we are able to identify the relevant record.
International Data Transfers
Some service providers may process data outside Germany or the European Economic Area. Where required by applicable law, international transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your Privacy Rights
Where applicable, you may have the right to:
- access your personal data
- request correction or deletion
- request restriction of processing
- object to certain processing
- receive certain data in a portable format
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority
Because Geometry AI does not require a named account, we may need additional information to identify a server-side record associated with your request.
Children’s Privacy
Geometry AI is not specifically directed at children.
Users should not submit personal information about children unless they are authorized to do so.
Changes
We may update this information when the app, its providers or legal requirements change.
